Focus, python, and DuckDB | Readings


The funny thing about this week was that focusing indeed helped. I was trying to learn Rust to implement the genome project (which I might still do later on) but after some feedback, by focusing for a couple of hours I was able to get something working. And I got it to write the output to DuckDB which at first glance seems to provide great results (5 million rows were stored in 1.3 MB).
